Are you ready to get up close?
UP CLOSE is an exploration of a spectrum of closeness. Starting inside our bodies, we consider touch and relationships with people and machines before spanning out to the way we move through place and space.
Find out about the 100 trillion microorganisms living inside you, see what tears look like under a microscope with each tear as individual and unique as its owner- and have a spontaneous conversation with a stranger, but is it human or AI?
This exhibition straddles the real world and online divide. Most of the exhibits are waiting online, but there are some in the galleries at MOD. and some that you can participate in wherever you find yourself.
UP CLOSE launches 30 August 2021 and runs through to January 2022.
