Drawing on her extensive and diverse experience in industrial relations spanning 45 years—working with unions, private and public sectors—Anna Booth offers a unique perspective on Australia’s workplace landscape.
All types of regulators are interconnected, and every regulatory framework is shaped by the surrounding systems and environments. Anna will provide reflections on regulating in a complex socio-political environment, including effectively navigating a shared responsibility for workplace bullying, sexual harassment, and wages underpayments in Australian workplaces.
During this free public lecture, Anna will discuss the importance of collaboration between regulators with overlapping jurisdictions particularly across workplace relations and work, health and safety frameworks. Anna will explore how partnering with unions, employers, employer organisations, and civil society achieves positive change to workplace practices.
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from one of the nation’s most influential voices in workplace relations.
Light refreshments will be provided for attendees. Everyone is welcome.
