Dr Daniel Harvie

Daniel graduated from the Master of Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy at UniSA in 2011, and since then he’s made significant contributions to physiotherapy education and research. He's taught at three Australian universities, earned a PhD focused on persistent pain, published 40 scientific papers on the topic, and received South Australia's prestigious young scientist award. With a background in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy, he completed a PhD under renowned clinical pain neuroscientist, Professor Lorimer Moseley in 2015, co-authoring a book called "Pain and Perception: A Closer Look and Why we Hurt." He continues to advance pain neuroscience and psychologically-informed practice and its integration in to physiotherapy in Australia.
