University of South Australia graduate Sheena Liam has been announced as Asia's Next Top Model.
Graduating from Taylor’s University with a degree in Communications and Media Management (UniSA), Sheena Liam has always had a passion for modelling — and winning Asia’s Next Top Model is just the platform she needs to lead her into the international stage.
After weeks of challenges, tears, hot photographers and fierce model behaviors, Malaysia’s ‘Blonde Ambition‘ has been crowned as the winner of Asia’s Next Top Model Season Two! Sweet Jodilly Pendre came out in second place, and the beautiful Katarina Rodriguez in third.
For the season finale of this year’s Asia’s Next Top Model, the top three contenders had a photo shoot inspired by “kampong” (village) life in Malaysia. They then took the runway in designs by Jonathan Liang, Ghea Panggabean, and Albert Andrada.
Liam’s overall look gave her a win, as judges called her the “face of modern Asia.” And well, we couldn’t agree more!
Following her success, Sheena Liam wins a Subaru car, a contract as the 2014 endorser of haircare brand TRESemme, a chance to appear on the covers of Harper’s Bazaar Singapore and Malaysia, SGD 50,000 and a three-month contract deal with Storm Model Management in London (which is the model agency representing Cara Delevigne, Kate Moss and Alexa Chung). She has also managed to win over Malaysians’ hearts and blessings!
