Apply via SATAC

3 things to consider before applying

Number 1

Evaluate all of your options for degrees and careers

Gather all the information you need to make an informed decision on your future by exploring our website, reading our study and career guides, and connecting with us through our events.

You can use our website to search by the study area you’re interested in or your desired career.

Once you’ve narrowed down your options, make sure you understand the entry requirements. If you’re not sure, you can get in touch with our Future Student Enquiries team.

Find a career or degree

Number 2

List your degree preferences in order of passion

When applying through SATAC, you can list up to six preferences for degrees you'd like to study. List the degree you most want to study first, as the offers you receive will be given in the order you have preferenced, if you are eligible (Ie, 1st choice first, 2nd choice second etc).

If you need help navigating the SATAC application process, our step by step guide may help.

In order to ensure you are able to study at UniSA if you don't get your first preference, consider adding our Foundation Studies course or a Diploma program through UniSA College.

Number 3

Check the qualifications for your preferences

If you are applying using Year 12 results, check to see if you’re eligible for Adjustment Factors (bonus points) and confirm your ATAR Selection Rank by visiting SATAC’s self-service portal.

If you’re applying with other qualifications, such as previous VET or university study or a STAT result, get in touch with Future Student Enquiries for advice on your application and possible pathway options, such as UniSA’s Guaranteed Entry pathway.

Our Guaranteed Entry calculators to help you determine which of your preferences you have qualifications for, or what qualifications you'll need to enter the degrees of your choice.
