Financial Support
The UniSA Department of Rural Health can provide the following financial support to domestic Allied Health and Nursing students undertaking a rural placement in South Australia for period of two (2) consecutive weeks or greater.
Accommodation* and travel support** payments are in line with the RA code of the placement town.

| RA4 Remote | = | $250 |
| RA5 Very Remote | = | $300 |

For placements of five (5) consecutive weeks or longer, students can apply for a Placement Support Payment.
Support for alternative accommodation is also available depending on the situation.
UniSA domestic students can apply for a placement grant via the UniSA scholarships page. This grant is available for placements of greater than 4 weeks and is separate from the DRH.

Students not enrolled at UniSA should check with their own University or Training organisation for additional scholarship information.
