Alex Martinis Roe brings To Become Two to the Samstag Museum of Art, a film installation concerned with the structure of relationships within collectives, and how these relationships underpin feminist political practices. Alex Martinis Roe is a Samstag scholar, who undertook post-doctoral research at the Universität der Künste, Berlin from 2013-2016.
23 April to 17 July >> James Nguyen and Victoria Pham: RE:SOUNDING
Vietnamese-Australian artist James Nguyen and Victoria Pham explore Đông Sơn drum. Nguyen is an artist working in in Naarm/Melbourne, who has exhibited across Europe, the U.S. and the Asia Pacific. Pham is a sound composer, archaeologist and artist who specialises in archaeoacoustics, working between London, Sydney and Paris.

5 May to 28 May >> Modern Living: At Home in South Australia, 1890 – 1960 – An Exhibition
From efficient kitchens and hygienic surfaces to internal plumbing and sun shading, the modernisation of the home has a long history. Presented by The Bob Hawke Prime Ministerial Centre and Architecture Museum, this exhibition examines some of these influences with a focus on houses designed for South Australia, ranging from the model cottages of the late Victorian era to architect-designed Modernist houses.
2 June to 30 June >> SA Refugee Week 2021 Youth Poster Awards Exhibition
This exhibition showcases selected posters submitted by students from South Australia's primary, secondary and tertiary educational institutions. The artwork is a response to Refugee Week and themes which are critical in the acceptance and settlement of new arrivals to Australia. Those themes include multiculturalism, cultural diversity, anti-racism and the welcoming of refugees into Australia. Presented by The Bob Hawke Prime Ministerial Centre and Australian Migrant Resource Centre.
