Welcome to our Supporters’ Club. We’re glad to have you on board to support one of the longest participating teams in the Santos Tour Down Under (TDU).

After making its start in 1999, the TDU is now the biggest cycling race in the southern hemisphere and we are proud to be a Premier Partner. Team UniSA first entered the Tour during its early years (2001) and we have been flying the flag for young Australian cycling talent ever since.

In 2006, the TDU race classification was elevated to Hors Categorie and Team UniSA-Australia became the official Australian national team in the event. In 2008 the TDU joined the prestigious UCI ProTour - the first event outside cycling's traditional home of Europe to do so - and Team UniSA-Australia continued to be in the thick of things.

2015 saw the establishment of the annual TDU women's race and it flourished. In 2016 the women's race was granted UCI 2.2 status and then was upgraded to UCI 2.1 status for 2018. The 2018 year also saw the Australian women's national team join forces with UniSA to become our female Team UniSA-Australia.

Through both our men's and women's team, Team UniSA-Australia has a history of determination, passion for the win and a record to prove it. It is always home to new talent in Australian cycling and the riders you follow here will often go on to make it big in Europe and around the world as they join the professional circuit.

We are proud of the role we have played in fostering the development of Australia's most promising young male and female riders, and look forward to seeing what the next group brings to the ride!

Join us in flying the flag for Australian cycling.
