Facilitating the development and utilisation of low carbon products and services in the built environment
This Cooperative Research Centre for Low Carbon Living Node of Excellence, hosted by the University of South Australia, is contributing to technological, social and economic research that is facilitating the development and utilisation of low carbon products and services in the built environment.
The Research Node for Low Carbon Living of UniSA provides PhD scholarships to stimulate new multi-disciplinary, industry driven research in South Australia into different aspects of low carbon living, with research focussed on making a measurable difference. All Node research projects seek to address issues identified by industry, and are supported by industry partners.
The Node is South Australia’s premier hub for multi-disciplinary research into all aspects of low carbon living, with research focussed on making a measurable difference.
The Node is developing world class industry driven research projects and attracts higher degree research candidates across a range of areas including, but not limited to: technology innovation; energy systems integration; building renovation; urban design; the economics of low carbon precincts; and consumer choice making. Research conducted at the Node includes development of new technologies, new applications for technologies and new approaches in achieving low carbon living.
