The professional development AND training arm is one of the key areas of iCAHE. This training arm delivers courses and modules for continuing professional education for clinicians, academics, policy makers, consumers and other stakeholders of health care. The courses and modules are developed based on ‘core’ (essential foundational knowledge) and ‘variable’ (needs of learners) components to facilitate uptake of knowledge and skills into practice. Courses and modules are delivered in different formats such as podcasts, face to face and online.
Aims
- Provide continuing education to health professionals (clinicians and academics) nationally and internationally
- Provide pathways for higher degree opportunities (Post-graduate courses for clinicians and academics)
- Provide opportunities for research mentoring

- Courses can be taken independently as Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses
- Courses can also be taken as part of higher degree courses/ programs
