Dr Janine Margarita Dizon, PhD

Janine is a part time research assistant at the International Centre for Allied Health Evidence, University of South Australia, and a faculty member of the University of Santo Tomas (UST), Manila Philippines. She is a graduate of physiotherapy at UST, and is a PhD graduate of UniSA. She was granted the University of South Australia's President's Scholarship for her PhD entitled "An evidence-based practice (EBP) training program for physiotherapists in the Philippines: development, implementation and evaluation of an innovative model of continuing education." The program is aimed at updating and up skilling Filipino physiotherapists and other allied health professional in the field of EBP.  Contact Janine.

Professor Karen Grimmer, PhD

Professor Karen Grimmer is the Professor of Allied Health in the School of Health Sciences and is the director of the International Centre for Allied Health Evidence. Karen was Janine's principal supervisor. Read more

Dr. Consuelo Suarez, MD, PhD

Consuelo is the head of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  She is a medical doctor from UST, with a specialisation in rehabilitation medicine and PhD in Health Sciences from UniSA. Consuelo is the former dean of the College of Rehabilitation Sciences at UST and a valued colleague of the International Centre for Allied Health Evidence. She has published several papers related to childhood obesity which is the main focus of her PhD. Currently she is involved in post doctoral research projects at UST and the International Centre for Allied Health Evidence.
