Phantasia is an odyssey of the fabulous. Vivid, complex and magical, the works in Phantasia abandon the traditional realm of the photographic (the real world) to conjure images of the fantastical. These enchanted scenes are either created as theatrical settings that are then photographed, or assembled from myriad photographic fragments.
Phantasia includes: Magdalena Bors' fairytale scene; Mark Kimber's landscapes of the imagination; Alexia Sinclair's regal women of history; and Simon Strong's dreamscapes; while Andrew Mamo's work is simply a phantasmagoria.
