3 - 25 November >> 2020 Youth Poster Awards Exhibition
Presented by The Bob Hawke Prime Ministerial Centre and the Australian Migrant Resource Centre, this exhibition showcases selected posters submitted by students from South Australia's primary, secondary and tertiary educational institutions. The artwork is a response to themes which are critical in the acceptance and settlement of new arrivals to Australia. Those themes include multiculturalism, cultural diversity, anti-racism and the welcoming of refugees into Australia, as well as how refugees become part of, and contribute towards, the Australian “family”.

The Samstag Museum of Art continues its long-standing artist-led series, focusing on new works by South Australian artist Kirsten Coelho. Coelho, the 2020 SALA feature artist, presents Ithaca, a new installation of porcelain vessels influenced by Homer’s Odyssey.

Strange Ways is the first major survey exhibition of Samstag Scholar Anne Wallace and includes works from the early 1990s through to the current day. Born and raised in Brisbane in the 1970s, her highly accomplished figurative paintings are as much about the textual as the pictorial.
Until 11 December >> History of Australian Industrial Relations
Now showing in the Kerry Packer Civic Gallery, The Bob Hawke Prime Ministerial Library presents an exhibition about the history of Australian industrial relations from the colonial period to the present day. The exhibition will explore Bob Hawke’s impact on industrial relations in Australia through his work at the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) and as Prime Minister of Australia.
