UniSA Tour Down Under ambassador

Patrick Jonker is an Australian cycling legend, having competed in some of the world's biggest cycling events during his years as a professional rider from 1993-2004. He represented Australia twice in the summer Olympic Games in 1992 and 1996, took part in five Tour de France events and achieved notable wins in the 1997 Route du Sud event and Grand Prix de Wallonie event in 1999.

As a rider for Team UniSA, Mr Jonker competed in three Tour Down Under events and secured overall victory in the 2004 event. It is a tour that he is still closely associated with in his current role as sports commentator and Team UniSA-Australia ambassador.
