Dr Eucharia Meehan

Director, Irish Research Council

Dr Eucharia Meehan commenced as Head of Research and Innovation at the Higher Education Authority in Ireland in 2002 and ten years later she was appointed Director of the newly formed Irish Research Council.

She is a former Chair of Women in Technology and Science and a former member of the Broadcasting Complaints Commission of Ireland. Currently she is a Board member of the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training, and of the School of Cosmic Physics in the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies.
