The University offers a range of services to our community and the general public. In the interest of the safety of the public, community and our staff and students, our public and community facing services operate in line with State and Federal Government restrictions.

  • Coming to Campus minus-thick plus-thick

    UniSA facilities are open with some limitations in place on service delivery. Staff can still gain access to various buildings via their staff ID card.

    All staff and students are required to download the SafeZone app to their smart phone or computer and ‘Check In’ if visiting campus. For more information on how to download the app click here.

  • Venue Hire minus-thick plus-thick

    In light of the Federal Government’s restrictions on indoor mass gatherings and social distancing protocols, and in the best interests of our partners, students, staff and broader community, all venue hire requests will be assessed in line with Government restrictions and advice.

  • Library minus-thick plus-thick

    All four metropolitan libraries are open and the Library is operating with the full commitment of its staff to provide high level support to the learning, teaching and research activities of the University. This includes 24/7 access to our city-based location (Jeffrey Smart Building). All spaces have been reconfigured to adhere to the government's social distancing guidelines and spaces and equipment are cleaned twice daily.

    Access to library based collections such as print items and laptop loans continue to be available as does the virtual Ask the Library service from 8.30am – Midnight (weekends 10am – 4pm). The Library’s extensive digital research and teaching collection is accessible via the Library’s homepage.

    The University’s public facing services including our galleries, museums and Community Clinics are operating in line with State and Federal Government advice.

    Following federal and state restrictions on public venues and gatherings to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, UniSA’s indoor sport and fitness facilities are open with required limits in place.

    With more than 212,000 UniSA alumni across more than 134 countries, our thoughts are with the wider university community at this time.

    Keeping in touch or sharing massages of solidarity is something we value greatly.     UniSA has created a Student Hardship Fund to help hundreds of students dealing with the fallout from the wider economic impacts of COVID-19. If you can do something, however how small – you can make a donation to augment the hardship fund here.
