Saturday Sessions will take you on a captivating journey across the universe. Join one of our highly experienced astronomers as they guide you through constellations, the solar system and beyond. Marvel at the immense scale of the universe and observe the breathtaking beauty of the night skies projected on the eight-metre diameter domed ceiling.
Bookings are essential to visit the Planetarium.

On the first Saturday of every month, the Planetarium presents a 30-minute Night Sky experience, followed by a full dome National Geographic movie, Wildest Weather in the Solar System. This experience is perfect for keeping the kids entertained!

Cosmic Collisions presents the spectacular result of gravity pulling together planets, stars, and galaxies. Witness explosive encounters that ended the Age of the Dinosaurs and gave birth to new stars, but also created conditions essential for life on Earth - the Sun's warmth and ocean waves.
