Rural Health Clinic
Whyalla Campus

Based at UniSA’s Whyalla campus, our Rural Health Clinic provides a range of allied health services for the community in Whyalla and surrounding areas. Services are delivered by students supervised by qualified and experienced healthcare professionals.

  • Podiatry services minus-thick plus-thick

We deliver high quality podiatry services, treating and managing a wide range of foot and ankle conditions.

We provide a range of clinical services for adults and children including:

    • foot and lower limb assessment
    • treatment of lesions of the skin and nails, including corns, calluses, and nail problems
    • treatment of infections (e.g. plantar warts)
    • nail surgery
    • foot care and footwear education
    • biomechanical assessment
    • diabetes foot assessment and education

If you or your child is experiencing pain, activity limitations, or if there is a family history of foot and leg problems we provide lower limb assessment to enable early identification.

We are able to assist with concerns including flat feet, ‘pigeon-toed’ walking, Metatarsus Adductus, foot orthoses, warts, pains, bow legs and ingrown toenails.

In addition to receiving valuable client care, you will help us deliver quality clinical education to UniSA students - our next generation of healthcare professionals.

Appointments are essential, a medical practitioner referral is not required to access podiatry services and there is no charge for routine treatment.
