Achiever School Leaver Scholarships
The Division of Information Technology, Engineering and the Environment at the University of South Australia is proactive in encouraging more young people to undertake careers in science, engineering and technology.
Our new High Achiever Scholarships are aimed at encouraging our brightest and most talented school leavers to undertake Bachelor Degrees in the innovative teaching, learning and research environment at the Mawson Lakes Campus which will lead to careers in a wide range of Industries engaged in science, engineering and technology research, development and manufacturing.
The Division of Information Technology, Engineering and the Environment is pleased to offer scholarships to students enrolled in the following undergraduate programs:

High Achiever School Leaver Scholarship
School leavers with a TER of 97* or above will have the opportunity to be awarded scholarships valued at $5000 each.
Students will need to meet the the following criteria:
- meet the required TER
- enrolled full time in one of the programs specified
- have not previously commenced higher education studies, and
- must be an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident.
Students who meet these criteria, have taken a gap year or worked for a number of years and are applying solely on the basis of their year 12 qualification are also eligible to receive a scholarship.
The scholarship may not be held in conjunction with any other scholarship awarded by UniSA.
High Achiever School Leaver Equity Scholarships
School leavers with a TER of 90* or above will have the opportunity to be awarded one of three scholarships on offer, valued at $5000 for each year of their degree.
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, students will need to meet the required TER and the following criteria:
- enrolled full time in one of the programs specified
- have not previously commenced higher education studies
- demonstrate financial disadvantage, and
- must be an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident.
Scholarship recipients will receive $5,000 per year for the duration of their award, subject to maintaining a minimum GPA of 4.5 per study period.
The scholarship may not be held in conjunction with any other scholarship awarded by UniSA.
*TER result must be exclusive of bonus points and scholarships will be awarded to the highest scoring students.
