ATN Test


What is the ATN Test?

The ATN Test is a unique and innovative assessment test of a prospective student’s aptitude and capability to undertake IT or engineering studies.

The 2.5 hour multiple choice test assesses aptitude to think scientifically, solve quantitative problems, critically analyse information and display interpersonal understanding.

Developed and conducted by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER), the test is only offered by ATN Universities, UniSA being the only one in South Australia.

Satisfactory completion of the ATN Test allows direct entry into the Associate Degree in Information Technology, an entry into any of the School’s Bachelor programs.

Who should sit the Test?

School students and mature age students who may not have the traditional year 12 maths and science background, or the TER, required for entry into an IT Bachelor program.

Fee

The fee for a candidate who sits the ATN TEST is $85.00.
