Aboriginal Health

Aboriginal Health

Working in partnership with Aboriginal stakeholders and community groups, our researchers are addressing the high rates of chronic disease and their causes, the over-representation of indigenous children in care and protection systems, and the psychosocial determinants of health and illness. We are committed not only to the development of more effective therapies and early intervention strategies, but to rigorous research that will underpin policy development and support innovative practice to address the complex health issues affecting Aboriginal people.
