Challenge yourself to develop your research communication skills and enter for a chance to win prizes.


The Competition

The Division of Information Technology, Engineering and the Environment (ITEE) are once again competing in the Asia-Pacific 3MT®  Finals.  The competition is designed to develop your academic, presentation and research communication skills. 

As a participant you will have just three minutes to present your thesis topic and its significance in a concise and engaging presentation in language that is appropriate to intelligent but non-specialist audiences. 

The winner of the Division of ITEE 3MT finals will participate in the UniSA 3MT Final. UniSA's overall winner will represent us at the Asia-Pacific 3MT®  Finals.

2016 Winners

1st prize went to Daniel Griffiths for his talk title:  ‘Watching the shadows with high dynamic range imaging’ School of Engineering.

2nd prize went to Abdullah Saed for his talk title:  ‘Visible light communications’ School of Information Technology and Mathematical Sciences.

3rd prize went to Farzana Kastury for her talk title:  ‘A new solution to testing air pollution’ Future Industries Institute.
