Welcome to the website of the University of South Australia node of the Australian Technology Network's Industry Doctoral Training Centre, or IDTC.
The IDTC is the first Doctoral Training Centre in Australia, and is home to an innovative four year doctoral training program.
Industry based research projects are central to the IDTC, with doctoral candidates able to undertake a PhD level research project of critical importance to an industry partner, supported by academic supervisors and potentially with additional supervision from partner organisations.
Nodes of the IDTC are located in each Australian mainland state, at all of the ATN Universities. The UniSA node of the IDTC is located with the School of Information Technology and Mathematical Sciences at the Mawson Lakes Campus.
Generous scholarships are available for students wishing to undertake a PhD. Interested students should contact IDTC Node Leader Associate Professor Peter Pudney.
Expressions of interest from industry for potential projects are now invited. Please contact the IDTC Node Leader, Associate Professor Peter Pudney.
