As part of our Successful Ageing Seminar series, we invite you to attend this FREE seminar to hear from two distinguished presenters on the topic of improving outcomes for cancer patients and survivors in rural Australia. Presented by:

Dr Kate Fennell is Research Fellow at the University of South Australia Cancer Research Institute. Kate carries out both qualitative and quantitative research in psycho-oncology, rural health and rural mental health and brings to this role experience from working as a Clinical Psychologist, as well as from growing up on a farm in an isolated rural community.
Kate has recently returned from a Churchill Fellowship which allowed her to gather information on this topic from leaders in India, the UK, the Netherlands, Canada and the USA.

Professor Ian Olver AM is Director of the University of South Australia Cancer Research Institute and Professor of Translational Cancer Research at the University of South Australia. A renowned oncologist, cancer researcher and bioethicist his research interests are in anticancer drug studies, symptom control, bio-ethics and psycho-oncology, Ian is author of over 290 journal articles and is a regular commentator on cancer issues in Australia and internationally.
