Getting the right amount of sleep is one of the most important things you can do for your overall wellbeing. Yet in our 24/7 world, a lack of sleep is becoming an increasingly common issue. Join Associate Professors Siobhan Banks and Jill Dorrian to discuss how it is possible to stay healthy despite the pressures of modern life.
The talk will take you on a journey of exploring how sleep deprivation and other behavioural factors affect your wellbeing, safety and productivity. It will also provide examples of how individuals and workplaces have used the knowledge of UniSA’s sleep researchers to change behaviour and counter these effects.
Come along to discover a newly formed research concentration that brings together multi-disciplinary collaborators, and learn more about how their work tackles the big challenge of keeping people safe and healthy in a 24/7 society.
