2018 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art: Divided Worlds launch event

Schools + Groups

The Samstag Museum of Art offers free exhibition talks and tours for schools and groups.

The Museum also offers professional development for secondary and tertiary educators, to support visits and study around our exhibitions.

We request that group visits to the Samstag Museum are to be booked in advance.

Before visiting the Museum it is suggested that you contact staff to determine the following:

  • Suitability of exhibition content and subject matter for the year level you plan to bring.
  • Whether staff are available to give an introductory talk.
  • Opening hours, transport and cloakroom facilities.

If possible, we recommend teachers and educators preview the exhibitions prior to bringing students to see the exhibition.

Schools and other groups can book visits outside normal opening hours. For further information please contact the Samstag Museum.

Educations Resources

A selection of free Educations Resources are available for current and past exhibitions. Be in touch with the Samstag Museum of Art for more on current exhibitions and featured artists.

Samstag Museum of Art offers a series of conversations, talks and workshops that provide a platform for critical thinking, information and discussion around contemporary art. Our ON ART: Discussion sessions in particular are developed for visual arts students and emerging practitioners.

All ON ART sessions are free and open to everyone. See Public Programs for details on upcoming events.
