Student experience

Action Set 1

Action set 1: Enhanced educational offerings and an outstanding student experience

UniSA will design and deliver curriculum that is relevant and of high quality, delivering excellent outcomes for graduates in an educational environment that allows our students to make the most of their student experience. We will:

  • Transform our curriculum to ensure all students acquire measurable, transferable skills for employment and life;
  • Combine online preparation and tutor-mediated learning in the UniSA approach to the flipped classroom with flexible curriculum that meets the needs of learners;
  • Move to a preparatory 3-year bachelor degree followed by a 2-year professional masters in appropriate disciplines;
  • Ensure every academic discipline is informed by and responsive to industry expertise;
  • Have all academic staff, including our professors, engaged in teaching;
  • Establish teaching and research alliances with other universities;
  • Move to a whole of university orientation model;
  • Provide every incoming student with a staff buddy;
  • Ensure scholarship funding is delivered efficiently;
  • Ensure that all our campuses offer comparable learning and support facilities;
  • Ensure that our services are delivered at the point of need;
  • Develop a UniSA merchandising strategy.
