External Relations and Strategic Projects

Led by Deputy Vice Chancellor and Vice President Mr Nigel Relph, the External Relations and Strategic Projects team drives the University’s external engagement strategy by developing partnerships and managing a range of strategic projects, domestically and internationally. The portfolio seeks to establish and strengthen connections between the University, alumni, external partners and the broader community. The Advancement Services team located within the portfolio facilitates mutually beneficial relationships between the University and its benefactors, graduates and friends. The portfolio also encompasses the University’s outreach and engagement activities in the Bob Hawke Prime Ministerial Centre; the Hawke EU Centre for Mobilities, Migrations and Cultural Transformations; the Samstag Museum; To 2048 – Australia Deliberates our Futures; and MOD. – the University’s science and engagement centre.
