The University of South Australia is seeking participants for our next 3-day/2-night live-in sleep study running throughout February of 2024.
The study aims to look at the effects of sleep loss effects on team performance in a maritime environment. The study will involve a period of sleep restriction (6 hour sleep on night 1 followed by 31.5 hours of wakefulness and a 4.5 hour recovery sleep).
The study includes performance testing and saliva collections.
All meals are provided.
Gender: male and female
Age: 18-40
Location: University of South Australia Magill Campus Sleep and Chronobiology Laboratory
Other criteria: healthy, non-smoking adults with no history of sleep disorders
All meals are provided, and participants will be financially compensated with an honorarium of up to $600 for their participation in the study.
