The Mass Spectrometry & Proteomics (MSP) facility located within Clinical & Health Sciences at the University South Australia provides expertise for Tissue Mass Spectrometry Imaging and proteomic analyses. MSP is a Proteomics Node for Bioplatforms Australia in South Australia that was established under the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS).
We offer a wide range of analytical services for industry and academia such as protein identification, quantitative proteomics, phosphoproteomics and glycomics. In addition, we are experts in method development and have established mass spectrometry assays for specific analytes such as patulin in apple juice, bromoform in seaweed (a compound known to reduce methane production) and PFAS (the ‘forever chemicals’) in solid and fluid samples.
