Professional, clinical and field placements in metropolitan and rural areas are a core element of many of the programs offered within UniSA Clinical & Health Sciences and UniSA Allied Health & Human Performance. Designed to address your individual needs, UniSA’s Physiotherapy Clinic delivers hands-on quality care to help restore, maintain and promote optimal physical function. Services are provided by professionally supervised undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as fully qualified physiotherapists.
Visit UniSA’s Podiatry Clinic to access a range of services, including foot and lower limb treatment, sports injury treatment, orthotics, and biomechanical assessments. Podiatry services are provided by undergraduate podiatry students under the supervision of registered practicing podiatrists.
UniSA’s Occupational Therapy Clinic offers assessment and treatment for children and youths. An interdisciplinary service, our fully accredited OTs will work with your child’s strengths and challenges to achieve their goals.
In partnership with BreastScreen SA, the UniSA Mammography Clinic offers free breast screenings for women primarily aged 50-74 in an accessible and comfortable environment.
At UniSA’s High Performance Sport Centre, we offer specialist exercise testing to suit a range of needs. Access state of the art exercise science analysis services that will assist in designing your training program and maximising your performance.
UniSA’s Exercise Physiology Clinic offers services that assist with the management and prevention of chronic health conditions, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, disabilities, and medical conditions. We offer practical exercise advice and programs that will help you to achieve your health goals.
The UniSA Health and Medical Clinics provide a range of low-cost general practitioner services, providing acute and preventative health care across two convenient city locations.
With gym, pool and indoor court facilities spread across our four metropolitan campuses, UniSA offers a range of affordable and convenient fitness activities. Casual visits and memberships are open to the general public, as well as to UniSA students and staff.

Committed to improving the recruitment and retention of health professionals in rural and remote South Australia, the Department of Rural Health engages with local communities, and supports domestic nursing and allied health students in undertaking rural placements.
The Invictus Pathways Program (IPP) is a wellbeing program to assist current serving and veteran defence force personnel and first responders who have physical, emotional and/or psychological conditions often suffered as a result of traumatic events.
