Iain McCalman: John Busst

Iain McCalman introduces the remarkable story of John Büsst, the Melbourne-born artist turned conservationist, famously known as 'The Bingil Bay Bastard.' Büsst, who transformed into one of Australia's most influential environmental advocates in the 1960s and 70s, led efforts to protect the Great Barrier Reef and lowland rainforests, rallying support from several prime ministers.
